Peter Le Mottée
Position: Attorney of the High Court of South Africa and Owner of Peter Le Mottée Attorneys
Peter Le Mottée obtained his BA degree in 1979 and his LLB in 1982 from the University of the Witwatersand. Peter spent the following 5 years as a youth worker for the Christian organisation Scripture Union. Peter was admitted as an attorney in 1984 and has been a practising attorney since 1989. Peter started his career at EFK Tucker (1989-1992) and thereafter moved to Dykes Daly where he practised as a partner of the firm until 1997. Peter was a founding partner of Le Mottée Agnew Attorneys from 1997 until 2010.
Peter was a member of the Methodist Church of South Africa’s Panel from 2005 to 2011 and acted as a Convenor for the Panel from 2005 to 2011. Peter also currently sits as Chairperson for the Scripture Union Regional Executive.
Peter Le Mottée Attorneys opened its doors in 2010 where Peter has continued applying his 25 years of experience in law and expertise in family law, commercial law and litigation.
Position: Paralegal, Personal Assistant and Receptionist
Vuyo Mzizi completed her Private Secretarial Diploma at the London Chamber of Commerce and Industry Examination Board (2004). Thereafter she joined ABB Engineering acting as a secretary to the divisional manager of the firm. Vuyo subsequently completed her Senior Paralegal Diploma at The South African School of Paralegals in 2014. Vuyo is by virtue of the aforementioned competent in administrative duties in respect of civil litigation, property law and conveyancing, debt collection, wills and estates, business and commercial law as well as criminal law. Vuyo is also competent and highly capable in business English, bookkeeping and accounts, business administration, business practice and text production. Vuyo joined Peter Le Mottée Attorneys in 2013.
Position: Candidate Attorney
Max-Wilhelm obtained his LLB degree at the University of Pretoria in 2013. During his student career Max-Wilhelm gained practical experience at the National Prosecuting Authority, Michael Tymvios Attorneys and Peter Le Mottée Attorneys. Max-Wilhelm was also employed as an on-site Internal Relations Officer by a construction contracting company during the SAPPI Go-Cell project. Max-Wilhelm started his articles in January 2014 at HTN Attorneys gaining experience in the National Credit Act and debt collection, after which he joined Peter Le Mottée Attorneys in April 2014 as Peter Le Mottée’s candidate attorney and legal assistant.
